Project objective
Have a methodology to determine the daily production batches of each product and tools that facilitate management to avoid stock breakage.
Organization description
Argentinian company located in the Ezeiza Industrial Pole that produces and distributes fresh flour-based food products (farinaceous).
Strategy
- Identification of the seasonal behavior of the demand from the statistical analysis of historical dispatch data.
- Design of a model to estimate future demand considering three (3) factors: seasonality, latest shipments, and economic context.
- Design of the algorithm to determine the replenishment point of each product and the stock.
- Maximum reference level to determine the volumes to be produced in each batch.
- Automation of the historical data capture process of the ERP management system and calculation of the replenishment points and maximum reference stock level.
- Report implementation in the ERP for production scheduling.
- Implementation of a Kanban system in the storage chamber.
